U. S. History will cover seven units of American History from the founding of our nation to recent events. Emphasis will be placed on God’s providential guidance in the formation and development of our nation. Students will learn basic terms, interpret historical maps, evaluate the U. S. Constitution and other important documents and assess timelines, graphs and charts. They will also discern God’s providence and use the Bible to evaluate social, economic and political systems in the different eras of American History. Students will research and write a history paper and a report on a modern era of history.
